Auburn Celebrates
2 New Queens!

Saturday night brought the crowning of two new titleholders for the Auburn community. 14 year old Megan of Newcastle was crowned 2010 Teen Miss Auburn. The Del Oro High School student is the daughter of Bob and Wendy. Megan is a black belt in TaeKwonDo and will spend her reign supporting Peace For Families. Her career goal is to enter CSI Law Enforcement. Megan also won the Interview portion of the competition.She was sponsored by the Newcastle Cheese Shop and the Crosthwaite and Silva Families.

18 year old Ashley of Rocklin was crowned 2010 Miss Auburn. The Sierra College student is the daughter of Robert and Cindee. Ashley is a pre-school teacher and will spend her reign supporting H.E.A.R.T. (Health Education Africa Resource Team). She would like a career in advertising. Ashley also won the Speech and Interview portions of the competition. She was sponsored by Custom Benefit Administrators and Fountains Dental Excellence.

• Both ladies will receive a $1,000 Scholarship. Other award recipients for the evening were:
